Katie (Australian Cattle Dog)

Katie was the first dog to come into our home, and was rescued from a shelter in Oklahoma when we lived in that area in 2003. She is calm, quiet, and "street wise" from her days as a stray. She has been a big help for teaching "canine manors" to the new members of the "pack".

We also have two cats who do their best to keep order among the dogs! Roy and Hank have done their part to socialize any dogs that come through the door.

 Marty (English Setter)

Marty is the dog that turned my heart to setters! He was rescued from the same shelter, a few months after Katie. He was unwanted, but for the life of me I can't figure out why! He is a lap dog, and needs to be around people. When we moved to the prarie country of Minnesota, and after a little training, he became one of the best pheasant dogs you could ask for! He points with intensity, but will relocate, and has figured out how to cut off the path of these running birds. Marty is a blast in the field!
